betaplanet.org originally began life as a soapbox on which I could stand to voice my lofty ideas for how to make the world a better place. From ruminations on appalling customer service to idealistic packaging concepts to reduce waste, it was all going in.

The problem was, it needed a fairly advanced content management system to deal with all the cross-threaded content. Not having the first idea how to implement such a tool, I let it die.

Until one day I started staying late at work, just designing stuff, repurposing ideas and photographs from the archives. And I didn't stop for quite some time. It hasn't been updated in a while, but it's still there, ready to confuse your parents and crash their browsers before disappearing stealthily up its own arse.
