When Barry Diller's InterActive Corp commissioned Frank Gehry to build their new headquarters on the West Side Highway, Trollback + Company accepted the challenge of designing content for the 120ft video wall that runs nearly the whole width of the building.

The first challenge was the resolution of the wall, 14,000 pixels in width. Designing and rendering at that size is a challenge in and of itself, but shooting original content is another matter entirely. Then, there's the question of scale: what the work will look like to a viewer standing three feet away, compared with how it will appear when viewed from across the street.

Composited high-resolution timelapse photography, live action video and conventional pre-rendered elements intertwine with live graphics generated from RSS feeds - news stories, TicketMaster concert locations, clocks - all represented graphically, to create essentially a emotionally-resonant brand showcase for all of IAC's companies.
