I collaborated with Terry Green and Nori-Tzo Tolson of twenty2product on this project that they shot on 16mm in the Yuen Po bird park in Mongkok, Hong Kong. Susumu Yokota scored the soundtrack.

I love the immediacy of DV, and with a little tweaking it's possible to remove a lot of the flatness that's inherent in the format. But it's great to get a chance to work with real film for a change - the depth is immediately apparent and the resolution is worlds apart. Seen on an HDTV monitor, this piece (and Yangshuo, the other project that Nori and Terry were working on at the same time) is rather spectacular.
