This project for San Francisco industrial design shop New Deal was quick and dirty, a simple concept executed effectively on a very short timeline. Their design for the Palm Zire had won an award, and rather than produce a tedious infomercial-style look at the design process like most of the other award-winners, they wanted to make a short piece that showcased the whole team and didn't take itself too seriously.

So after a couple of hilarious hours spent shooting the team in their studios, I retired to Brannan Mansions to edit and build the graphical elements, emerging a short while later looking a bit haggard, but just in time for the Fedex deadline to the east coast.

The fingerprints on the device only serve to up the cheese of the whole experience. Or at least that's the story I'm sticking to.
