Surface Tension was a multidisciplinary collective founded with four friends in Edinburgh. Mostly we produced plays in partnership with the renowned Gilded Balloon (sadly destroyed by fire in 2002).

I created the company's promotional materials - ranging from flyers, posters and matchbooks to motion graphics for projection - as well as those for other local outfits like Thought Gang, Midnight Oil Productions and the Filmhouse Theatre.

Along with a half-baked plan to go make a documentary of a motorcycle trip from London to New York - over land, i.e. by going east - we're also still waiting to realise the dream of Surface Tension's Norwegian Mountain Render Farm. Pass the crack pipe, please.
